Social justice poster draft (4)
I wanted to create something that's different from usual hunger/starvation posters, which was to go for a more positive or encouraging effect, rather than something that would shock the viewers at once. The flower that I drew is called 'yarrow' and it has a meaning of 'healing'. Although it took me a long time to complete it and I wish I had some more artistic skills, I think I definitely did step out from my comfort zone when I compare this with some of my previous works :)

Social justice poster draft (3)
Tutorial2_Adv. GD: Jelly type
This was a quick and easy tutorial that gave a jelly like dimension to the type.
BUT!!
'Jelly' was a word used in the tutorial,
so I decided to create another one with my name~ :D

Social justice poster drafts (1&2)
My social justice topic is world hunger/starvation.
The first poster is based on a shocking fact regarding the starving children around the world. I tried to experiment with typography for this poster. So far, there are two variations for this poster, and as you can see, they are slightly different in size and colors. For the image that's placed on the right bottom corner, I received a comment saying that it does not look like a starving child, so I'll be working on it more to really communicate my topic. Although I like the colors that are used for right side one, I think darker colors will work better for the contents that I've put on the poster..
The second poster is based on the famous phrase that is commonly known among people. I folded an apple with a dollar that I 'printed' and scanned it to give an idea that 'just as an apple a day can keep the doctor away, donation can keep the hunger away'. Maybe I should actually put this sentence on the poster, but I'm not sure for now. I'll have to experiment more with type faces and placement with this one.
I'd appreciate if you could let me know what you think of them- Thanks for reading!
