Poster Design : Spring Fashion Show

This was the first real poster that I designed last year for Diversity Committee's first fashion show; "Wear Diversity". I took picture of my friend Sierra and used it as an image for the poster.

Poster Design : Special Lecture

First year students at Peace College are assigned with summer reading books every year, and usually the author of the book visits the campus to give a lecture. This year, I had an opportunity to design a poster and a invitation (both same design, just different information) for this special event.

Applied from Tutorial 1 ; 'Qatar'

Since I had such an amazing week in Qatar this past spring break, I decided to create a design relating to it. Based on the tutorial that I did, I used some of my pictures which I took while I was in Doha, the capital of Qatar. For the background, I used a skyline picture of Doha, a Qatari flag, and an old paper texture. In the foreground I used a picture of the camel which I actually rode for 10 minutes during my trip to the desert. I also made a variation of it.

Tutorial 1

This is a Photoshop tutorial that I did for my Type 2 class. It took me a while to complete it but it felt good to look at the finished work. Plus, I think I'm starting to feel more comfortable working with the Photoshop :)
